Business Associate Agreement
What we receive
The files you upload: remittance advice (835/ERA), an accounts-receivable aging export, and optionally a fee schedule. These contain protected health information, including claim identifiers, dates of service, procedure codes, and amounts. Where a file carries a member name, you may turn on de-identified mode at upload and the name is removed during parsing, before anything is analyzed or stored.
What we do with it
We parse the files, compute a report, and store the report and the uploaded files. The report contains claim identifiers and amounts. It does not contain patient names.
What we never do
We do not submit, post, edit, delete, or transmit anything to a payer, a clearinghouse, or any other system on your behalf. There is no code path in this product that writes to a third party.
Deletion
You can delete everything we hold at any time, from the link on your report. Deletion removes your uploaded files from disk and every row about you from our database, leaving only a single record that a deletion happened and when.
